WALA 83.15 Administrator Course
Cyndee CBRF Training, LLC does not offer the CBRF Administrator Course. However, if you plan to own or operate a Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF) or an Adult Family Home (AFH) in Wisconsin, you must complete both the four core CBRF training courses — required for the Wisconsin Employee Registry — and additional administrator training to meet DHS 83 licensing requirements.

How to Start a Group Home in Wisconsin
If you're considering starting a group home in Wisconsin, completing the CBRF Administrator Course is just one step. You must also:
- Obtain a CBRF or AFH license through the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS)
- Complete DHS 83 training for CBRFs or DHS 88 for Adult Family Homes

Prerequisite Training for WALA's CBRF Administrator Course
Before beginning WALA's 83.15 Administrator Course, participants must complete the following six prerequisite courses or have proof of an applicable exemption in accordance with DHS 83.24:

- First Aid & Choking
- Medication Administration
- Standard Precautions
- Assessment and Planning
- Licensing and Survey Process
The first four courses may be completed through any approved instructor. WALA directs participants to UW-Green Bay for the Assessment and Planning and Licensing and Survey Process prerequisites.
