Community-based residential facilities (CBRF) are places where five or more unrelated people live together in a community setting. Services offered include room and board, supervision, and support services. It can include up to three hours of nursing care per week. Community-based residential facilities need personnel who are qualified to render the right services. These individuals need to go through CBRF Training to equip themselves with the right skills to perform their jobs properly and better care for their residents. The CBRF Training focuses primarily on 4 crucial areas: Medication Administration, Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, First Aid and Choking
